Dry Point Etchings

Dry-point etching is a different process to reduction printing. With reduction printing the ink lies on the lino surface; with etching the ink sinks into a grove etched out on metal or perspex. Many editions can be created from a metal plate etching, whereas only a few can be created from etchings on perspex. Again you will see an edition number at the bottom of the image, e.g. 1/10 but you will also note that the print is ‘sunken’ into the paper – a distinctive feature of an etching.

My images are currently printed on perspex and therefore only have small editions.  To purchase any of these prints, click on the images below for more details on size and the purchasing process.
